Q: What type of equipment do I need? 
A: We'll supply a helmet, safety vest and motorcycle. You will need a leather or textile (armored) jacket, gloves, eye protection, rain gear (if necessary) and leather boots (cover the ankles, low or no heels).

Q: When is your next available course? 
A: Our classes book early, so you will need to call to confirm the next available course date.

Q: Can I use my own bike? 
A: No, unless it's an individual lesson. Our bikes are suited to meet your learning objectives. They are small, light and agile. Exactly what you need to learn the skills and obtain a Class 6 license.   All of our equipment is new and top of the line so that you can feel safe & comfortable while training with us.

Q: How do I hold a spot? 
A: We require a 50% deposit to reserve your spot. Balance is due 1 week prior to your course start date.

Q: Do I need a Learner's Permit to register for the course? 
A: No, but you MUST HAVE your Learner's Permit when the class begins.

Q: Can I change my course date after I leave a deposit? 
A: Yes, but we require 2 weeks advance notice.

Q: What will I learn?
A: The course covers 

  • Rules of the road
  • Protective riding gear
  • Knowing your motorcycle
  • Pre trip inspections
  • Sharing the road with big trucks
  • Dealing with animals
  • Hazard perception & avoidance
  • Hypothermia
  • Riding in the rain
  • How to handle flat tires
Basic riding skills including:
  • Clutch control and shifting gears
  • Emergency braking
  • Lane Positioning
  • Cornering techniques
  • Emergency situations
  • Group riding

Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes I am fully licensed, Bonded and Registered

Q: What is your pass rate on the MST& final road test?

A: Our students who have taken our new riders course have been maintaining an 85% success rate compared to a 55% pass rate for an untrained rider.

Q: Am I guaranteed my motorcycle license if I take your course?

A: No - We are not legally allowed to guarantee you your license, but we will continue to train & test you until you have obtained your license. If you don't give up - we won't either.

 Q: Is the training hard?

A: Yes, it is physically and mentally demanding and must be taken seriously. It is very fulfilling to accomplish such a goal. It is also a lot of fun.

Q: I have never ridden a motorcycle, will I have problems?

A: No but it may be challenging at first. Bicycle riding experience is a bonus.
